Why is my breaker tripping?

Why are my appliances shocking me when I touch them?
Your appliances may be in bad condition, and must be replaced. These are fire and electrocution hazards, and should be replaced immediately. Please call us if you need assistance in replacing more dangerous equipment.
My GFI doesn't reset; why?
Your Ground Fault Interrupter, or GFI, does not have power, or needs to be replaced.
Are you licensed and insured?

Why are my smoke detectors beeping?
The batteries need to be replaced, or your detector is defective.
My hallway lights come on only from the back or rear entrance. Why?
Your main entrance three-way switch is in bad condition, and should be looked at.
Is it safe to do my own electrical work?
